The Litchfield Community Writers Group assists amateur creative writers, as well as their teachers, leaders, and mentors, with grants, scholarships, educational resources, and support for creative writing groups and reading forums. With our focus on amatuer writing, we can not fund for-profit writing or publishing endeavors.
Direct Support to Writers Groups Program
Through our Direct support to Writers Groups Program, we can assist with a variety of amateur writing costs: group membership dues; fees for contest entry, writing classes, conferences or retreats; community writing or public reading programs; writing materials or other resources; and technology support for writing groups (e.g., website hosting or virtual meetings costs).
